Today's tip is all about looking fabulous for all those holiday soirees, which unfortunately usually start just after the work day, not leaving you much time to get ready.

And you never know who you will meet at these things, so you have to look hot!

The "little black dress" has been the uniform for day-to-night dressing, and I'm all for simplicity.  But fast forward to today ladies!  Try something in a jewel tone, bold pattern or even winter white.  Even a gorgeous beaded top with skinny jeans can work for most parties.

Then pick up a velvet cape or a sequined cardigan to throw over your office get-up and you're good to go.

A little lux and sparkle will go a long way, baby.
